Our Story

Code4Outdoor grew out of personally seeing the trauma that 1st responders deal with on a daily basis and the need for them to seek out healthy activities that build mental resiliency. We live in a state that beckons people to be outdoors! Now more than ever, 1st responders need be able to disconnect from the stresses of work and connect with themselves and with nature. Our mission is to facilitate that through such activities as bicycling, hiking, climbing, skiing, fly fishing, etc.

Our Mission

Code4Outdoor, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting and improving the mental health and well-being of 1st responders through outdoor activities such as cycling, skiing, climbing, hiking, among others. We recognize the challenges and emotional strains faced by these brave individuals and firmly believe that engaging in epic events, created and executed by our team of like-minded individuals, enables them to build a strong support network and becomes a powerful tool in fostering their healing, resilience, and overall wellness.
